Some of you have recently asked how to add a watermark to your tubes.
I personally don't watermark except on the preview but this is something that
is eached tuber's preference.
A watermark must be put on a seperate layer than the tube! If you are wanting
to put the watermark on the tube
itself you are more than welcome to but I wouldn't unless you just want to
show off your work rather than share it.
No one will use a tube that has a watermark on the tube so most tubers either
don't use them or put the watermark
on a seperate layer.
Remember if you use this method of watermarking that you run the risk of people
copying the tube
layer and deleting the original with the watermark layer.
There are several different methods of watermarking but my personal favorite is adding a tube on a seperate layer.
| Open a new transparent image aproximately the size you would like your watermark to be. | Using the text tool |
| While your text is selected and still floating add what ever text effects you would like to use. I personally prefer using a Cutout effect with a Corona. | Go to Selections Select none. |
| Now export your watermark as a tube for instructions on exporting tubes go here. I recomend naming your tube Watermark1 | Now that you have a watermark here is how you add it to your tube. |
| Once you finish your tube and check for stray pixels and you are satisfied with your tubing efforts it's time to add a watermark layer. | First is add a new raster layer |
| Chose the tube tool |
Making sure that the Watermark layer is selected left click once on the area you would like your watermark to appear. |
|
Saving- Now since you have 2 layers you can't save as a tube so you have to save in .psp format |
Now Make a preview in JPG format and share your tube today!! |
My Watermark
Remember the best watermarks are semi transparent!
