Making Tube Previews

There are several different styles of makeing tube previews
This is just one of many. It is simple and adds information to the preview
about the tube you are sharing. If you want to use a background with
the preview try to pick one that shows off the edges of the tube.
The porpose of a preview is to do 2 things. 1. Shows people what it is
so people know if they already have it or not. 2. It shows the quality of the tube
if it's got stray pixels, jaged edges ect. Some people just send in the picture that
the tube was made from, this doesn't show us which parts of the pick are
included nor does it show us if the edges are smooth or stray pixels.

Open the .psp or .tub file you wish to share with the group Shift+D to duplicate the tube close the original (note the exact name of the tube)

Effects/3D Effects / Drop-Shadow

You don't have to use the settings shown to the right but you should use very little off-set (1 or 2) and alot of blurr (between 25 and 35)

Add informative text .... this should include the Name of the Tuber, No dropshadow on tube, and the amount of resizing if you plan to resize the preview.

Chose a contrasting color for your text

IMPORTANT NOTE! : If you don't know who tubed a graphics put "Not tubed by Me" you do not want to give the impression that you are the tuber. Tubers spend alot of time and effort into making these tubes and if they think people are taking credit for their hard work they will stop sharing.

Add what ever 3D effects you would like to make the text standout more. I sometimes will use a cut-out effect or use SBP with a drop shadow. For this example I used a Bevel and a Chisle effect. The neet thing about Making previews is it gives you something to test and practice Text effects on :) Go to File/ Save Copy As
Name your preview with the exact same name as the original .tub or .psp file and chose the JPEG file types. You can optimize but I donot recomend compression of more than 10 maximum. Save to a folder named previews somewhere where it is easy for you to find.
Now attach the preview you just made to the same email you send the tube in.
