If you have never installed a plugin filter before but wanted
to I'm sure you
have noticed that here isn't a plugin filter folder in PSP so you don't know
where to put it. Well there are 2 ways you can do this, you can either creat
a
folder in PSP or you can create one elsewhere on your hard drive to install
your plugin filters too. Either way is eceptable infact I have my plugins in
both
places. It all depends on your preferences (just remember if you become a filter
hog the more stuff you have installed into the PSP folders the slower PSP will
run and eventually it will crash if overloaded)
First thing is, you have to create a folder named Plugins you can put this folder
in the
PSP folder or you can put it anywhere on your computer that you can find easily.
Next thing you want to do is go to File/Preferences/File Locations
Click on the Plugins tab at the top.
Check the first 3 boxes available Leaving the last one unchecked
Then tell PSP where to find the filters by inserting the file path to your filters
folder.
Now most Plugins will have installers but many of the free filters will be in
zip files. All you have to do is unzip to the any of the folder you have PSP
looking for the filters in.
You may also need the msvcrt10 just unzip and install
in your Windows/system folder
